The first of several twinstars to appear at the field
Apologies for the blurred picture but I though it worth including. The two electric assisted gliders were chasing the same thermal. The one in the front was originally a 78 inch WS Sonata E. During the 'coming together' the propeller of the top one chopped half the left wing off BUT fortunately the two then spun into each other resulting in an almost identical amount being removed from the right wing of the Sonata. With some semblance of balance restored the Sonata E remained sufficiently flyable to achieve a decent (if high speed) landing on strip.
